There is a lot of flexibility in quote delivery. There are two (2) basic steps:
Browsing and searching for Products
Adding items to the Quote Builder
Browse and search for products
Maxam Metal Products Ltd. products are broken into basic product categories such as “Fire Rated Access Doors” or “Roof Hatches”. These categories are listed at the top of most site pages. For pages where the categories menu is not available, individual category links are still available from the main menu bar at the top of the site.
When you click on one of the product categories (i.e. Non Fire-Rated Access Doors), a complete list of products for this category is displayed. You can click on the product model or image and it will to take you to a detailed product page. Finally, products can be searched by model number or detailed information by using the search bar in the top right corner of the site, and then entering your search term(s).
Adding items to your RFQ Builder
Starting from a detailed product page, you can build your RFQ by selecting from the different options listed under the product description. These options will include size, locks, latches, etc. Go through all of the options and make your selection. If you don’t want or need an option and it is not a mandatory field, you may leave it blank. Once you have made all of your selections from the different options, choose your quantity and click on the “Add to Quote” button.
When you click on the “Add to quote” button, you will be guided to the quote builder screen that shows you the contents of your RFQ. Make sure that you have chosen all of your options. If you need to update the quantity simply adjust the quantity in the field and then hit “Update Quantities”. Once you are satisfied with the contents of your RFQ, click “Finalize Quote” to continue the RFQ process.
On the Finalize Quote page, simply follow the on screen instructions, ensuring to fill out all mandatory fields. When completed you will be taken to a page that summarizes your request for quote. You will also receive an email notification containing a copy of the RFQ. Please allow 2 business days for processing of your request. We will contact you with pricing details after your request has been processed.
