The Van-Met Insulated Model FCI-600 is tested and listed by Intertek (Warnock Hersey) for a three hour fire-rating in a vertical or horizontal separation. The temperature rise has been tested in a ceiling position, which is the most extreme condition. Model FCI-600 meets a maximum 20°C/36°F at 30 minutes, 40°C/72°F at 60 minutes, 50°C/90°F at 90 minutes, and 60°C/108°F at 120 minutes.
