Standard Construction
The Van-Met Model NGP is ideal where moisture or air movement is a consideration. Gasket on all 4 sides ensures continuity of seal. Door panel is flush to frame with reinforced edges. Manufactured from galvannealed steel with a continuous stainless steel piano hinge, which allows the door panel to open 180° for easy access. Exterior appearance is compatible with other Van-Met access doors.
Performance Criteria:
Model NGP met the performance criteria as per CSA A440-00 (windows) for an Air Infiltration of A-3 for both 75 Pa and 300 Pa, for Air Ex-infiltration the sample met an A-3 rating at 75 Pa and A-2 rating at 300 Pa. In Water Tightness by Static Pressure the door sample met a B-1 rating, subject to using an optional watertight mechanism. Call for details. Testing performed by Intertek (Warnock Hersey).
NOTE: Watertight latch mechanism (NEMA rated) not available on this product.
