The Van-Met Model NHS, high security access door provides access through openings in vertical or horizontal surfaces. Fully welded construction with detention-grade materials, our Van-Met detention design standard goes beyond your typical angle frame and flat panel offered in the industry. In addition to the concealed spot welding, individual knuckles on the full length piano hinge are welded to the frame and panel. The one-piece multi-formed flange/frame design, complete with welded corners on the door panel, provides extra rigidity and tamper resistance edges.
