The telescoping SLP, when fully extended (1067 mm (42”)) to its locked position, enables the user to step on or off the fixed ladder below in a safe standing position while holding onto the post. Safety posts are mounted to the top two rungs of a fixed vertical ladder and are easily extended and lowered with a ribbon spring, providing perfect balanced operation. Pre-assembled, just attach to ladder and its ready for use. Meets ANSI A14.3 and OSHA 1910.27 requirements 200 pound load.
