Frame Material: 16 ga (1.6 mm) Galvanneal steel up to and including 30” x 48”. Larger sizes in either dimension are 14 ga (2 mm)
Flange: Exposed (FCI) – 7/8” (22 mm) wide up to and including 36” x 36” (914mm x 914 mm) or 1-1/4″ wide for larger panels.
- Wallboard Bead (FCB) – 1-5/8″ (41 mm) wide.
- Recessed Wallboard (FCL) – 1-1/2″(38 mm) recessed 5/8″ (16 mm) from frame.
Door Material: 18 ga (1.31mm) Galvanneal steel with 22 ga (.64 mm) liner
Finish: Off-white prime coat
Insulation: 1-1/2″ (38mm) high temperature insulation
Closer: Zinc plated steel tension springs that automatically close and latch panel from an open position of approximately 90° as required by NFPA 80
Hinge: Concealed rod hinge up to 48″ (1219 mm) height. Piano hinge for larger sizes
Latch: 1/4″ (6.35 mm) Allen key operated slam latch
CERTIFICATIONS:
Intertek Warnock Hersey Listed and Labeled:
- 2-hour fire rating for vertical and horizontal installation.
- Temperature Rise Max: 30 minutes @ 250° F (139°C), 60 minutes @450° F (250° C)
Testing Standards:
- Vertical: NFPA 252, UL 10B, CAN/ULC S104
- Horizontal: UBC 43-7
