The lightweight CAP series access panel with rigid, formed, single or double doors features a hidden touch latch for a streamlined look. On double leaf models both doors are removable – when closed, one door is stationery and the other opens. Designed to access and maintain large above-ceiling utilities, pumps or equipment.

Product Specifications

Frame Material: 18 gauge (1.31 mm)galvanneal steel

Flange: Standard 1″ exposed (CAP) or wallboard (CAPW).

Door Material: 20 gauge (1.01 mm) galvanneal steel

Finish: Off-white prime coat

Safety Chain: 6″ (152.4 mm) safety chain provided on operable door only

Latch: Concealed touch latches on operable door; includes a patent-pending latch mounting block.
