The Uninsulated Van-Met Model FRL is tested and listed by Intertek (Warnock Hersey) for a two hour fire-rating and is designed to maintain the continuity of a fire barrier when installed in a vertical separation. Model FRL is designed with a hidden flange for use with drywall or other architectural wall finishes, when a flush finished surface is desired. The wraparound type construction makes the frame extremely rigid
