The Uninsulated Van-Met Model FFM is tested and listed by Intertek (Warnock Hersey) for a two hour fire-rating and is designed for use in areas when a door frame cannot protrude into the wall. Surface mount, no inner frame, installed in a vertical separation. Exterior frame flange conceals the edges of the rough opening for an attractive appearance. The panel is secured to the frame with a continuous piano hinge, which allows the door panel to open 175° for easy access.
