Materials: 14 gauge Galvannealed steel – 1.99 mm
Lid: Brake formed hollow-metal design with 25 mm (1”) insulation covered by 22 gauge inner liner. Fully welded and internally reinforced for 195 kg/m² (40 psf.) live load
Curb: 305 mm (12”) in height, insulated design with an integral cap flashing. Features the MAX-CLIP to easily secure single-ply roofing materials
Lift Assistance: Torsion Spring / Hinge Assembly designed to counterbalance lid for ease of operation. Design provides a larger “Free Area” in opening of the roof hatch
Gasket: Extruded EPDM rubber gasket permanently adhered to cover
Latch: Zinc plated steel, padlock hasps inside and outside
Automatic Hold Open Arm: Safety Red providing high visibility. Arm locks the cover in the open position
MAXAM’s insulated Model RHS-7 is designed for use with stairs. The safety red hold open arm is designed to be switched easily from one end to the other allowing flexibility when installing in the field.
